Automatic Longitudinal Tear Switch
Slit switches provide an alarm signal to the monitor or shut down the conveyor in case of tears, punctures, damaged junctions or sharp objects protruding from the belt. The rip switches are mounted in pairs on both sides of the conveyor belt. They are connected by two sections of wire rope. One end of the wire rope is fixed to the support bracket and the other end is attached to the pull ring of the rip switch. The two sections of wire rope form a monitoring surface under the conveyor belt. When an object or torn belt is suspended down and swept down to the wire rope, the wire rope pulls the tear switch pull ring to make it move ···
