What is a slip switch?

Slip switch, also known as rocker switch or toggle switch, is a common electronic switch. It consists of a movable rocker (or toggle) and contacts. According to the position of the rocker arm, the circuit between the contacts is connected or disconnected to realize the switching operation of the electronic device. The user can switch the state of the circuit by shaking the position of the rocker arm. Rocker arms usually have two or more positions, each corresponding to a specific electrical connection. For example, a slide switch used on a light bulb can toggle the state of the light to on, off, or an intermediate dimming mode. Slide switches are commonly used to control various functions of electronic equipment such as lights, fans, power tools, etc. It is widely used in home, office and industrial environment.
